The following fuel tax increases for Virginia will be go into effect on July 1, 2023:

Gasoline – Excise Tax will be increasing 1.8 cents to 29.8 cents.

Diesel – Excise Tax will be increasing 1.9 cents to 30.8 cents.

Motor Vehicle Fuel Sales Tax will be increasing .6 cents to 8.8 cents.
