The following fuel tax increases for Maryland will be go into effect on July 1, 2023: 

Gas – Excise Tax will be increasing 2.1 cents to 31 cents. 

Diesel – Excise Tax will be increasing 2.1 cents to 31.75 cents. 

Maryland Sales and Use Tax Equivalent will be increasing 2.2 cents to 16 cents.
